More than 20 international flights scheduled for Thursday were suspended, due to severe weather conditions caused by Super Typhoon ‘Carina,’ which brings the total number of flight cancellations to 148, according to the Manila International Airport Authority .

Moreover, flights to and from Denpasar, Bangkok, Narita, Hong Kong, Incheon, Nagoya, Singapore, Dubai, and Haneda have been affected. The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines has deployed Malasakit Health Care Unit personnel to provide breakfast meals to 20 passengers, who remained at the Laguindingan Airport terminal building due to flight cancellations caused by adverse weather in Manila.

In addition, Tacloban Airport had six flight cancellations due to bad weather conditions in Manila, while Siargao Airport had two flight suspensions.
