Ultra-marathon runner and former Liberal MP Pat Farmer is gearing up to run almost 15,000km around Australia in support of a 'yes' vote in the Voice to Parliament referendum.

The professional ultra-marathon runner will embark on his 14,500 kilometre journey with a support crew on April 17.

From there, Mr Farmer will run down the east coast to Brisbane where he will continue onto Sydney and Canberra. He also raised $100,000 for the Red Cross by running the length of Vietnam, about 3,200 kilometres, from December 2012 to January 2013. Mr Farmer is encouraging people to join him on the run to physically show their support for the Voice.
