THE Filipino community in New York City is being urged to mask up after a reported spike in cases of Covid-19, along with influenza and the Respiratory Syncytial Virus this Christmas season.
For the Covid-19 seven-day average, hospitalization rates increased by as much as 29 percent over the past two weeks.'Covid-19 and flu are increasing nationally and in New York City; nationally, hospitalizations for flu reached the highest levels for this time of year in more than a decade,' a statement from the New York City government's website wrote.
