The Philippine National Police (PNP) has tapped the help of the Anti-Cybercrime Group in recovering the Facebook page of Manila Police District (MPD) chief Police Brigadier General Andre Dizon which was hacked Thursday.

“Nahack ulit yung Facebook page ni district director, ngayon nagpapatulong tayo sa Anti-Cybercrime ng national headquarters ng Camp Crame para makuha ulit natin yung Facebook page,” said MPD spokesperson Police Major Philipp Ines to GMA News Online. “[At] para malaman natin kung sino ang naghack at kung sasampahan siya ng kaso kung sakali ma-identify,” he added.
He said the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group will also coordinate with Facebook Philippines regarding the incident. “Yung una pinadala natin sa Anti-Cybercrime sa Crame then ang Cybercrime sa Crame makikipagcoordinate sila sa Facebook Philippines para maayos yun. Same rin sa gagawin ngayon. Nahack kasi pangalawang beses na eh,” he said.
