“…Privacy lang kung may ginagawang masama tulad ng pakikipagnobyo sa marami, kung ikaw ay may asawa, nangangaliwa ka, kung ikaw ay rebelde …nilalabanan mo ang gobyerno, pinapasok mo yung gobyerno, nagsusweldo ka sa gobyerno pero traydor ka sa gobyerno,” Enrile said in his program with SMNI network.

Only individuals who are committing crimes should be afraid of the newly signed Subscriber Identity Module Card Registration Act, chief presidential legal counsel Juan Ponce Enrile has said.

“…Privacy lang kung may ginagawang masama tulad ng pakikipagnobyo sa marami, kung ikaw ay may asawa, nangangaliwa ka, kung ikaw ay rebelde …nilalabanan mo ang gobyerno, pinapasok mo yung gobyerno, nagsusweldo ka sa gobyerno pero traydor ka sa gobyerno,” Enrile said in his program with SMNI network. The implementing rules and regulations of the law is still being drafted for its full rollout, the National Telecommunications Commission said.

“Klaro dun sa batas na the SIM registered should be maintained by the telco, so ‘pag may lumabas na information regarding any of the information na naroon sa SIM register, sila ang mananagot. Nakalagay doon, the privacy is absolute,” he added.
