The Pagasa is raising the classification of the El Niño-Southern Oscillation Alert and Warning System to an El Niño Advisory. | JEMendozaINQ
This is because state meteorologists anticipate that El Niño is highly likely to become strong in the coming months, Pagasa’s climate monitoring and prediction section Ana Liza Solis revealed Tuesday.Previously, the Enso Alert and Warning System was only under the “alert” classification.
“The Enso Alert and Warning System of Pagasa was raised or upgraded to El Niño Advisory,” Solis announced in mixed English and Filipino.
