OVER P650 million worth of infrastructure and more than P58 million worth of agriculture were damaged during the onslaught of Typhoon Egay , the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said on Friday, July 28, 2023.
In the Cordillera Administrative Region , a total of P50,201,787.23 worth of agriculture products were damaged, while there was a damage worth P8,160,241.3 in Western Visayas. He said that while he was on a state visit in Malaysia, he was communicating with government agencies involved in the disaster response.
