Several power lines in Luzon were rendered unavailable amid the strong winds brought by Typhoon EgayPH.
In an advisory, the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines listed the power transmission lines that tripped due to the weather disturbance:San Esteban-Bangued 69kV Line - Date/time out: July 26, 2023 / 12:28 a.m., Customer affected: ABRECOLa Trinidad-Ampucao 69kV Line - Date/time out: July 26, 2023 / 12:32 a.m., Customer affected: BENECOTuguegarao-Magapit 69kV Line - Date/time out: July 26, 2023 / 2:04 a.m.
“Simultaneous restoration activities are also being conducted in areas already accessible,” the grid operator said.
