The province of Eastern Samar recorded its first COVID-19 case, as the Eastern Visayas region reported 66 new infections, health authorities said on Saturday.
He is now in stable condition and will be transferred to the Eastern Visayas Regional Medical Center-Magsaysay from the town’s isolation facility. The other Eastern Visayas cases were from: Tabon-Tabon, Leyte ; Catbalogan, Samar ; Libagon, Southern Leyte ; Pastrana, Leyte ; La Paz, Leyte ; Tacloban City and San Sebastian, Samar ; Bato, Leyte ; and Abuyog and Baybay, Leyte .
