The Department of Social Welfare and Development has provided more than P99.6 million worth of assistance to the areas affected by typhoon Odette.

DSWD spokesperson Irene Dumlao said the DSWD’s aid to the Odette victims totals P99,664,449.37, citing the Disaster Response Operations Monitoring and Information Center report as of 6 a.m., Dec. 27.“As of 6 a.m. today , available data shows that a total of P130,147,579.57 worth of assistance was provided to the affected families, of which, P99,664,449.37 from the DSWD,” Dumlao said in a Viber message.

Based on the DROMIC report, the DSWD has available stockpiles and standby funds amounting to more than P957.27 million.
