DSWD: Enhanced services soon via digital transformation

DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian vowed to digitally transform the department in order to simplify its processes and improve delivery of services to the public. | JMangaluzINQ

“The digital transformation initiative will soon yield positive results. The DSWD is streamlining its processes, reducing red tape and improving its services’ delivery to beneficiaries,” Gatchalian said in a statement.is overhauling its information and communication technology infrastructure, processes and workforce to improve its services.

Gatchalian also said that the agency will adopt the best practices from leading technology companies.
