DOH reminds asymptomatic COVID19 patients to complete 14-day quarantine
MANILA - The Department of Health on Saturday reminded asymptomatic patients that they should still comply finish the 14-day quarantine period to ensure they are no longer infectious.
"Kapag ang isang tao ay na-diagnose [ng] COVID-19 at walang sintomas sila ay required na magpa-isolate sa bahay when appropriate or sa temporary treatment monitoring facility, kailangan ang 14 days quarantine para siguradong hindi sila nakakahawa," Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire said at a state television briefing.
Asymptomatic patients may be cleared after 10 days of testing positive for the new coronavirus, the WHO said.
