The Department of Health (DOH)-Metro Manila Center for Health Development (MMCHD) cited the city government of Las Piñas for its high quality of health services.

Aguilar said the city government was also awarded with a plaque of appreciation for its support to different healthcare programs providing equitable access to quality and affordable health care services in accordance with the universal health care. The vice-mayor said aside from the two awards received by the government, a cash grant worth P150,000 was also awarded to the city which can be used as additional funding for health services and projects for Las Piñeros.
