The Department of Health (DOH) on Sunday recorded 2,321 new COVID-19 cases, increasing the total nationwide caseload to 3,982,965.

It is the 15th straight day that fewer than 3,000 new cases were recorded, but also the fourth straight day of more than 2,000 new cases.

The number of recoveries climbed to 3,893,452 while the death toll rose by 33 to 63,510. It is the 13th straight day with more than 30 deaths reported.
