DOH launches 24/7 hotline in Metro Manila for free medical consultations COVID19
MANILA - Metro Manila residents may now avail of free medical consultation through a 24/7 hotline, the Department of Health said Tuesday.
They may contact 02-8424-1724 for COVID-19 medical advice and health concerns unrelated to the virus, the agency said in a statement. The free telemedicine service is provided by the DOH in partnership with Telimed Management Inc and Medgate.Metro Manila and the entire Luzon, home to about half of the country's 100 million people, is under lockdown until April 30 to contain the pandemic.
As of Monday, the Philippines has recorded 3,660 cases of COVID-19, including 163 deaths and 73 recoveries.
