THE Department of Health (DoH) has assured the public who will take their vacation during holy week that hospitals and medical facilities are ready to serve their needs.

Vergeire also said that they are anticipating increased cases of heat exhaustion and heat strokes, among others.'Equipped po ang ating mga ospital dahil hindi naman kailangan ng specialized services para gamutin or bigyan ng lunas ang mga ganitong insidente ,' Vergeire added.Meanwhile, Vergeire also said that the DoH is discouraging acts of self-flagellation and crucifixions on Good Friday as it can lead to complications such as tetanus, bruises, and broken bones.
