SOME women have been dipping into their savings, including from the Employee Provident Fund (EPF), to pay for cosmetic treatment, reported Kosmo!.
A 46-year-old homemaker, who wished to be known only as Shu, said she spent RM2,000 monthly to get whitening treatment since two years ago.
“I could see results within two weeks and it boosted my self- confidence, and my husband likes it,” she added. The 80-year old said the practice was not hard for her as she had been preparing for it months before, reported Berita Harian.
