The DILG said that it has provided a total of P860,000 in financial assistance to the qualified former rebels of Negros Island under the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (ECLIP). | ManilaBulletin
In a statement, the DILG cited the Negros Oriental provincial government, Department of National Defense , Armed Forces of the Philippines and Philippine National Police for their invaluable service in facilitating the distribution of the aid to the qualified beneficiaries.
The DILG explained that the rewards of the 10 ex-rebels were part of “the ECLIP assistance package” under the “Immediate Assistance, Livelihood Assistance, and Reintegration Assistance.’’ Consequently, the DILG noted that another eight FRs and one Militia ng Bayan who were previous recipients received supplemental assistance as part of their reintegration into mainstream society.
