The Department of Budget and Management has approved the release of P5.83 billion to build 1,834 new classrooms across 216 locations in the Philippines.
“The timely release of funds for the project signifies our dedication and commitment to help in building a brighter future for our young learners,” Pangandaman said.The BEF covers the improvement and maintenance of school facilities such as the provision of classroom and workshop buildings, replacement of old dilapidated buildings, provision of furniture, repair and rehabilitation of classrooms, including water and sanitation facilities, and electrification.
