In a previous action, the office granted a wage increase for domestic workers in the region under Wage Order No. RBXI-DW-03. Effective March 6, 2024, the new monthly minimum wage for domestic workers was raised to P6,000 in chartered cities and first-class municipalities, and P5,000 in other municipalities. RTWPB-Davao also approved a P38 daily wage increase for minimum wage workers in the region, implemented in two phases. The first tranche of P19 took effect on March 6, 2024, under Wage Order No. RBXI-22, with the second tranche of P19 taking effect on September 1, 2024.
