Police Regional Office 11 director BGen. Benjamin Silo Jr. says during this week's AFP-PNP Press Corps media forum held at Camp Quintin Merecido in Catitipan, Davao City that his office will be intensifying police visibility in Davao Region this BER months criminal activities are expected to increase particularly theft and robbery as Christmas Season is approaching. The said operations netted a total of 113.978 grams of shabu; 1,339.2 grams of marijuana, and 3,000 hills of marijuana amounting to P1,633,028.80. Silo also announced that the whole Davao Region is now insurgency-free and just waiting to be declared as such by the Regional Peace and Order Council .
