The Davao del Norte Vice Governor, Oyo Uy, has announced a reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspects involved in a shooting incident on a public bus traveling from Tagum City to Davao City on December 28, 2024. The incident, which occurred around 1:30 PM in Barangay Sto. Niño, Carmen, Davao del Norte, resulted in the death of a 54-year-old passenger aboard the Davao Metro Shuttle. Witnesses reported that the suspects attacked without warning or provocation. Authorities have identified the suspects, who were also passengers on the bus, and are conducting a manhunt operation. One of the suspects allegedly robbed the victim's belongings and fled the scene on a motorcycle driven by another man identified only as 'Doy'.
