THE Davao City Transport and Traffic Management Office on Monday summoned for questioning the taxi driver who went viral after refusing to convey a passenger.The incident went viral after the passenger posted images of the taxi's plate number on social media along with a statement detailing the incident. In the post, the complainant stated how they verbally exchanged with the driver before they had to disembark the vehicle and wait for a different taxi.
The Land Transportation Office and the Land Transportation and Franchising Regulatory Board will issue a show cause order for the driver and the operator as refusal to convey passengers is a violation of their franchise.The CTTMO continues to get in touch with the complainant as the driver has also turned over the mobile phone that the passenger left in his vehicle.
