The Davao City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) recently held a two-day workshop to evaluate its service delivery and identify areas for improvement. The review, conducted with support from the Department of Social Welfare and Development and the Davao City Planning and Development Office, focused on key indicators like the Seal of Good Local Governance and Child Friendly Local Governance Audit. The workshop provided a platform for CSWDO program staff to offer suggestions and recommendations for enhancing services to various sectors. CSWDO Head Mae Aquino emphasized the importance of community involvement in guaranteeing a happy and healthy environment for all.

800 Families Affected by Flooding and Landslides in Davao RegionThe Office of Civil Defense-Davao Region (OCD-Davao) reported that around 800 families were affected by flooding and landslides caused by the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) in the region.
