COPENHAGEN Infrastructure Partners (CIP) has been awarded by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) with the first pre-development environmental compliance certificate (ECC) for any offshore wind project in the Philippines.

COPENHAGEN Infrastructure Partners has been awarded by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources with the first pre-development environmental compliance certificate for any offshore wind project in the Philippines.CIP became the first developer to submit a comprehensive pre-development ECC , and eventually also the first to obtain the certificate.

Danish Ambassador Franz-Michael Mellbin said that he is 'happy and proud' that CIP has been awarded the first offshore wind pre-development ECC in the Philippines.Aside from the ECC, CIP's San Miguel Bay project has also been recognized with a Certificate of Energy Project of National Significance .
