A video circulating on social media shows what appears to be a child drowning in a river, but closer inspection reveals a crocodile. Some netizens believe the crocodile may be mimicking a drowning child to attract attention and lure unsuspecting victims. Animal expert Dr. Romulo Bernardo, however, doubts this theory, explaining that crocodiles lack the flexibility to convincingly imitate human behavior. Bernardo suggests the crocodile may have become entangled in something, prompting its struggling movements. Other possibilities include the crocodile trying to dislodge a large bone or fish caught in its jaws.
