Private equity group Crescent Capital has put air and capital into filtration products company BreatheSafe’s global expansion plans, taking a material stake and promising to help it make inroads offshore.Glenn Campbell
Brisbane-based BreatheSafe’s roots stretch back to TRACS QLD, a transport refrigeration company that started in 2004, and heavy vehicle air conditioning and pressurisation systems group Kev Dalton Air Conditioning. It now has a bunch of high pressure HEPA filtration systems that are fitted into heavy machinery and buildings to purify air. Its target is enclosed industrial and mining environments, protecting workers’ lungs and machinery from hazardous dust.Crescent Capital’s understood to have invested alongside Johnstone, who went looking for a private equity partner to assist it with its global expansion plans.
