Two people have miraculously escaped serious injuries after the car they were in smashed into a wall and flipped onto the sand at one of Sydney's most affluent beaches.
Emergency services were called to Balmoral Beach in Mosman about 1.15pm on Monday after reports a vehicle had hit a concrete wall in a carpark and toppled onto the sand.

Photo: Tim Pascoe, NCA "Enjoying an amazing morning and early afternoon at Balmoral when a KIA EV came hurtling across the the road mounting the curb, missing the seats and bins and then demolishing the concrete wall," another person shared on Facebook. "Fortunately there were no people underneath when the car smashed through the wall and flipped," the post read in a North Shore Mums Facebook group.
