There are now 53 confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Marikina City, the local government announced Wednesday. | KHallareINQ
Data provided by the Marikina Public Information Office showed that as of 3 p.m. of April 8, the total number had an additional four confirmed cases, as compared to the previous 49 COVID-19 cases recorded on Tuesday.
Of the total 53 cases, 13 have succumbed to the viral disease, while six patients managed to recover. The local government added that it was also monitoring 18 persons under investigation , as well as 77 persons under monitoring .
