BUTUAN CITY – The number of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases in Caraga region’s capital city of Butuan is now down to six after 10 patients were cleared of the virus, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 30.
– The number of coronavirus disease cases in Caraga region’s capital city of Butuan is now down to six after 10 patients were cleared of the virus, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 30.With this new development on Thursday, Butuan City has only six remaining COVID-19 cases after 10 more patients recovered from the virus.
Recently, the regional office of the Department of Health based here confirmed the local transmission of the COVID-19 disease in this region’s capital city. The significant increase of recoveries was due to the thorough medical interventions and concerted efforts of the officials in Butuan and its stakeholders.
As of press time, 30 of the 86 barangays in Butuan City were still under modified enhanced community quarantine .
