BACOLOD CITY – Police arrested a couple in a buy-bust operation in Purok Kahirup, Barangay Singcang-Airport here on Thursday, October 5.
Police identified the suspects as Leo Dungon, 36, of Barangay 13, this city, and his live-in-partner Rodelyn Camento, 19, of Barangay Singcang-Airport.Police Capt. Melvin Mercado, head of Police Station 8, said that suspects are considered high-value individuals due to the volume of the drug recovery.
Mercado said that Dungon had a homicide case and was recently released from jail after serving his sentence. The Police Station 8 head said the couple was subjected to a buy-bust operation after they received information regarding their illegal activity. Charges for sale and illegal possession of dangerous drugs will be filed against the suspects, according to Mercado.
