BACOLOD CITY – The Bacolod City Police Office has shown that it is ready to respond in emergency situations in the barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections (BSKE).
The Bacolod City Mobile Force Company led by deputy commander Police Capt. Paul Vincent Pendon held a simulation exercise at the BCPO headquarters on Wednesday, October 4.
The BCMFC performed three scenarios in the exercise – high-risk checkpoint, active shooting with hostage-taking, and bombing. The Red Team from Police Regional Office -Western Visayas critiqued the performance of the BCMFC in these scenarios. Bacolod police chief Police Col. Noel Aliño said personnel exhibited good execution of these scenarios as he stressed the importance of saving lives and properties.
Aliño said they will regularly conduct these exercises to equip personnel with proper skills even if there are no big events in this city.related stories
