MANILA, Philippines — The EDSA -Ortigas Consortium of schools announced on Monday the suspension of classes on Tuesday, February 25, the 39th anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution.EDSOR Consortium officials said that the suspension of classes is a reaffirmation of the 'continuing significance' of the anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution, which they celebrate as a special non-working holiday.
'Recognizing our responsibility as educational institutions, we remain committed to preserving the relevance of the EDSA People Power Revolution, particularly for our current and future generations of students. We will continue to keep the spirit of EDSA alive despite active efforts to undermine it,' La Salle Greenhills said on Facebook.
