Louie Dema-ala said in a message to reporters Tuesday night.
Dema-ala was referring to earlier reports where combined military and civilian efforts have succeeded in dismantling 88 out of the 89 NPA guerrilla fronts nationwide, leaving only a weakened guerrilla front still operational.Despite this, he said Army units in the field remained on alert and would still conduct internal security operations to ensure that this year's elections would be peaceful and orderly.
