First nominee and digital lawyer Nicasio “Nick” Conti said the growth in awareness and support emanates from the common desire of every Filipino to have faster and better connectivity for improved education, communication and public service.“We are thankful for the widening support. We will push for Filipinos’ right to be digitally connected as part of efforts to uplift the lives of our citizens,” Conti said.

“We will work to ensure that there will be better and more jobs that Filipinos can be part of. Online work is a viable alternative that can provide decent living wages,” he added.“Let’s have new names in Congress — people who are really knowleadgeable and who will fight for the right of Filipinos,” a supporter posted on the Click party-list social media page.Click earlier called for a 20 percent student discount for students when buying mobile or online load.

This gained massive support from the public, particularly from students who uses prepaid services of telco.
