DAGUPAN CITY: Classes in 11 Pangasinan towns and San Carlos City were suspended on Tuesday, June 13, due to the continuous rains induced by the southwest monsoon.

As of 12 noon, classes in all levels in both private and public schools were cancelled in the towns of Bani, Basista, Bolinao, Calasiao, Dasol, Malasiqui, Mangatarem, Sta. Barbara, and Urbiztondo and San Carlos City, according to the Pangasinan Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office in Lingayen town.

Classes from preschool to high school levels in Aguilar town, and from preschool to elementary levels in Alcala town were also suspended.The PDRRMO advised residents, especially those living in low-lying areas to be on high alert for advisories and critical information that would concern them.Jose Estrada Jr.
