Central Luzon police are preparing security measures to ensure the safety of teachers and students in the resumption of face-to-face classes in public and private schools in August.

CAMP OLIVAS, San Fernando City, Pampanga –

“We guarantee the public that we are ready to safeguard learners, teachers, and education stakeholders when classes resume as we expect more people to go out, not only in learning institutions, but also in other public places,” Police Regional Office-3 director Police Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay said Thursday, July 28.

Police said they will continue to coordinate with the Department of Education and other agencies to iron out the detailed plan of action in ordinary school days and emergency situations. Baccay reminded the public to strictly observe health protocol, wearing of face masks, and social distancing to avoid the spread of the coronavirus and other infectious diseases.
