The Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) seized nearly P15.6 million worth of illegal drugs and arrested 558 suspects during intensified anti-criminality operations in January 2025. The CCPO conducted 175 anti-illegal drug operations, leading to the arrest of 256 drug personalities and the confiscation of P15,599,540 worth of illegal drugs. Authorities also seized 36 unlicensed firearms and arrested 71 individuals with outstanding warrants.

THE Cebu City Police Office has seized nearly P15.6 million worth of illegal drugs during its intensified anti-criminality and law enforcement operations in January 2025.The CCPO has arrested 558 suspects for various offenses during the same period.Data from police also revealed that the CCPO conducted 175 anti-illegal drug operations, leading to the arrest of 256 drug personalities and the confiscation of P15,599,540 worth of illegal drugs.

Meanwhile, the police’s crackdown on wanted persons led to the arrest of 71 individuals with outstanding warrants.Police Colonel Enrico Figueroa, acting city director of the CCPO, emphasized their continued commitment to public safety and order as the National and Local Elections in May 2025 approach.'I am proud of the dedication and perseverance of our police officers in maintaining peace and order in the city,' said Figueroa.
