Morillo shared this city's best practices on resiliency which focused on green tourism during the meeting of governors and mayors of Association of Southeast Asian Nations capitals in Vientiane, Laos recently.Morillo was the first speaker of the Declaration of Vientiane with the theme “Enhancing Connectivity and Resilience for Sustainable Development of ASEAN cities.
Aside from the main theme, the forum which was held last September 17 to 19 also tackled five sub-themes: Sustainable and livable city, green tourism, sustainable economic development, environmentally sustainability, and climate resilience.
