It comes as there are warnings for towns in Victoria's far-north is enduring one of the worst floods in 70 years.
Meanwhile there are multiple bushfire warnings in place for Perth as firefighters fight to bring multiple blazes under control. Summer is finally here for those living in Victoria, as the state is set to experience sunny and warm continuations in the coming days. Despite Melbourne having its coldest start to December since 2001, it's expected to remain dry and sunny until Thursday with temperatures hovering in the mid to high 20s.
Meanwhile, the skies will look a little different in Sydney, which is yet to record a 30-degree day this month. It's been a cold start to summer for many states, with Canberra ploughing through its coldest start to December since 1992.Sydney is also having its second cold start to summer in a row.
