The local government unit is building a recreational park and a new city jail along the shores of Laguna de Bay in Barangay Dela Paz.
BIÑAN CITY, Laguna – The park, to be called the Biñan City Esplanade, is expected to be a sport and outdoor recreation venue for residents as well as an additional tourist attraction.
The plan for the park includes a basketball court, tennis court, skating rink, picnic grove, playground, and an amphitheater.During a project tour on Friday , Mayor Arman Dimaguila said that the lot for the project measures eight hectares, including the area allotted for the new Biñan City Jail. According to Dimaguila, the new city jail will have a livelihood center and its location along the lakeshore will be beneficial.
“Kapag may malapit nang lumaya, meron tayong livelihood center dito, pwede munang mag-alaga ng isda, so walang problema sa pagkain. Gulay, maraming kangkungan dito ,” Dimaguila said.
