CAMP SIONGCO, Maguindanao Norte—A ranking officer of the extremist Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters was killed during an encounter with government forces in Datu Saudi Ampatuan, Maguindanao del Sur, an Army official said Saturday.
