The city government will involve residents in the deliberation of beneficiaries for the Department of Social Welfare and Development ’s Special Amelioration Program .

He said this would help address the confusion in the deliberation of beneficiaries and, at the same time, speed up the process in the city. Baguio City is the location of the Cordillera Administrative Region. The DSWD-Field Office 1 staff and members of the Philippine National Police made a house-to-house distribution of the P5,500 cash aid to 238 families in four villages in Santa, Ilocos Sur and to 298 beneficiaries from three villages in Santol, La Union.
