Bacolod City logs 2 new COVID19 cases; total now at 19
Two new cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 were recorded in Bacolod City, bringing the total to 19, its public information office said Wednesday.
According to Dr. Grace Tan from the city epidemiology and surveillance unit, the 18th patient is a 32-year old male and a family driver from Barangay Bata. The other new case is a 35-year old male and a locally stranded individual who arrived from Manila last May 26. The patient, who is a resident from Barangay Alijis, was immediately placed under quarantine in a facility and underwent reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction test.The patient has been isolated and contact tracing and investigation is now ongoing.
