“With increasing attention to data protection, this initiative aligns with the National Privacy Commission regulations and underscores Ayala Malls’ commitment to protecting personal information collected during transactions,” it said in a statement. Ayala Malls said it ensures its data security practices are in strict adherence to NPC regulations and guidelines. These practices include regular data security audits, transparent data handling processes and comprehensive employee training programs.
Ayala Malls said it works with its merchant partners and tenants to ensure that all establishments within its malls comply with NPC data privacy standards. “Looking ahead, Ayala Malls remains vigilant in efforts to protect its customers and supports the NPC’s efforts to promote awareness of the importance of data privacy practices,” it said.
