The past few weeks were very busy for Asian Hospital and Medical Center (AHMC) as it launched the SPECT-CT, a state-of-the-art machine that is set to revolutionize the diagnosis and treatment of patients with more precise imaging for improved outcomes.

According to Mayo Clinic, SPECT-CT or single-photon emission computerized tomography scan is a type of imaging that uses a radioactive substance and a special camera to create 3D pictures. The launch program saw AHMC President CEO Dr. Beaver R. Tamesis giving the opening remarks while AHMC Medical Director Dr. Jose Acuin giving an inspirational message.
The program was closed by Dr. Anna Purisima I. Peñalosa, Director, Strategic Business Unit and Commercial Operations Group.LAST August 27, 2024, the Asian Institute of Respirology celebrated the Black and White Gala Night at the Crimson Hotel. It was a time for fellowship and excellence in Pulmonary Medicine.
