THE Army ’s 18th Infantry Battalion has implemented changes in the leadership of its Delta Company based in the municipality of Akbar, Basilan province, the military said Tuesday, January 21, 2025.Installed as the new 18IB commander is First Lieutenant John William Calaguas, replacing First Lieutenant Carmel Angelo Robles, according to the 18IB.Lieutenant Colonel Mark Serapion Lagud, Jr.

, 18IB commander, presided the Change of Command Ceremony on Monday, January 20, at the command post of the Delta Company in Upper Bato-Bato village, Akbar.Lagud welcomed Calaguas as the latter assumed command of Delta Company and assured him of full support. Lagud also extended best wishes to Robles as he embarks on his future endeavors.
