Metro Manila’s air temperature further dipped to 19.0 degrees Celsius (°C) on Tuesday, Jan. 18, making it the coldest day so far since the northeast monsoon or “amihan” season started in October 2021. READ:

Malaybalay, Bukidnon In the next 24 hours, the shear line and northeast monsoon will still be the dominant weather systems in the country.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms may also prevail over the rest of Mindanao. Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will continue to experience cold weather due to the amihan.
