MANILA, Philippines — The arrival of former Bamban, Tarlac mayor Alice Guo this Thursday from Indonesia has been delayed allegedly due to procedural matters, according to Sen. Raffy Tulfo who is in that country to escort Guo back to the Philippines.
Tulfo, through his office, said that Guo was scheduled to take a chartered flight, RP-C6188, that was originally scheduled to take off from Jakarta at 1:15 p.m. and arrive in Manila at 6:15 p.m.Aside from Tulfo, also in Indonesia were Local Government Secretary Benhur Abalos and Philippine National Police chief, Gen. Rommel Marbil.'Secretary Abalos traveled from Laguindingan airport to Manila yesterday , and from Manila, PGen Marbil and I flew together to Indonesia last night at 11 p.m.
After this, she will be taken to the Senate, where she will be with her sister, Shiela, in the detention facility while waiting for the next hearing.The senator did not elaborate on the procedural matters that caused the delay.Tulfo is the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Public Services, one of three three committees tasked to investigate the escape of Guo and company.
