In a Senate subcommittee hearing on Tuesday, Shiela Guo—the sister of ousted Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo—disclosed how she and her siblings, including brother Wesley, managed to slip out of the country without passing through the immigration protocols.
Records from the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission indicated that the Guos exited the country from a private beach resort in Zambales, identified as Eman Pulo , according to PAOCC spokesperson Winston Casio. Shiela revealed that they traveled to Indonesia before parting ways on August 19. She confirmed their stay at Harris Hotel in Batam Center, Riau Islands in Indonesia. She said Alice went off on her own since then while she planned to accompany their brother to Singapore.
Shiela also admitted that she and Alice were not biological siblings. She said she met the mayor when she moved to the country. Although they did not grow up together, they developed a bond as sisters. Shiela said she is also staying in Bulacan, while Alice lives in Bamban.
